About us Back in 2013, Herne Hill locals Dickon White and Jason Perks co-founded Perks & White with a vision to introduce the area’s first specialty coffee shop. Inspired by the burgeoning coffee culture in Australia and New Zealand, they set out to bring high-quality, specialty coffee to their community in Herne Hill and Tulse Hill. From the beginning, Dickon and Jason were dedicated to not only popularizing specialty coffee but also building a business rooted in sustainable practices.
